Gate, one of the world’s leading digital asset platforms, announced the official launch of Gate Fun this week, a next-generation on-chain token launchpad built on its proprietary Layer 2 blockchain, Gate Layer. The launch underscores Gate’s commitment to its long-term strategy of going “All in Web3”, as articulated by Founder and CEO Dr. Han Lin in his keynote speech during TOKEN2049 Singapore at the Gate x Red Bull Grid Reception.
Gate Fun is the ecosystem’s first meme-token launchpad, designed around the principle of “zero-code issuance + all-scenario trading.” With just one click, users can create a token in under a minute for less than $0.001 in gas fees, set initial trading features, and immediately access liquidity. Once a token reaches graduation (≈1000 GT raised), liquidity is automatically migrated to Gate Swap, where it becomes tradable. Creators also earn a 50 GT bonus and fee-sharing rights, reinforcing Gate’s mission to empower Web3 creators. By integrating with Gate Wallet, MetaMask, Meme Go, and Gate’s CEX, Gate Fun lowers the barriers for token creation while streamlining the path from idea to market.

Dr. Han emphasized that “the All in Web3 on-chain ecosystem is not only the next evolution of exchanges, but also the future of finance.” He noted that Gate’s Web3 ecosystem now spans Gate Layer (high-performance L2 infrastructure), Gate Perp DEX (on-chain perpetuals), Meme Go (real-time meme token tracker), Wrapped Assets ($1.2B+ AUM), and the newly launched Gate Fun. Together, these products form a comprehensive, transparent, and efficient on-chain financial ecosystem that bridges CEX and DEX, enhances user empowerment, and accelerates global crypto adoption.

DEX Momentum & Breakthroughs are fueling this transition. Gate’s infrastructure now processes up to 700,000 transactions per second, surpassing even some traditional exchanges. Wallet UX has been simplified through Gate Wallet and MetaMask integration, allowing anyone to issue tokens in minutes with immediate liquidity. DEX total value locked (TVL) is now approaching CEX levels, with approximately 15,000 tokens launched daily — over 10 million annually. With DEXs capturing 25–50% of trading market share and rising, the sector is cementing itself as the new core of the crypto economy, validating Gate’s All in Web3 strategy.

“One World, One Gate is our vision,” Dr. Han concluded. “Through cutting-edge technology, a global compliance framework, and an integrated Web3 ecosystem, Gate is redefining the role of exchanges and shaping the future of finance.”
