Property tokenization platform EstateX has announced its appointment as the official tokenization partner of the Free Republic of Liberland. Under the agreement, EstateX will tokenize the entire Liberland economy, covering real estate, stocks, bonds, schools, infrastructure, and additional asset classes.
Officially proclaimed on April 13, 2015 by Vít Jedlička, Liberland is a sovereign microstate located on the west bank of the Danube River between Croatia and Serbia. Crypto mogul Justin Sun serves as its current Prime Minister, having been voted into office by the republic’s community.
The territory, 3 times the size of Monaco, remained unclaimed following the breakup of Yugoslavia and was recognized as terra nullius until the establishment of Liberland. Today, the state is positioning itself as a hub for innovation, freedom, and blockchain adoption.
Through its partnership with EstateX, Liberland will build the first fully tokenized national economy where assets of all classes are fractionalized, traded, and accessible globally.
Liberland President Vit said: “We’re delighted to welcome EstateX to Liberland, reinforcing its status as a hub for blockchain innovation. What our micronation lacks in size, it makes up for in ambition – and with EstateX onboard, Liberland is on course to tokenize the world.”
EstateX Co-Founder Bart de Bruijn said: “Being appointed as the tokenization partner of the Republic of Liberland is a historic milestone for EstateX and for the future of national economies. This collaboration shows how blockchain can unlock liquidity, open access to capital, and provide a transparent financial system at the country level. We are proud to support Liberland in building the world’s first tokenized economy.”
EstateX will deploy its integrated ecosystem, including TokenizeX, PropXChange, EstateX Pay, LaunchX, CapitalX, and the ESX L1 Blockchain, which is optimized for real-world assets, to provide Liberland with the infrastructure needed for tokenization and global participation in digital finance.
The Liberland partnership is part of EstateX’s long-term plan to collaborate with governments and sovereign states. Through fractionalization, EstateX allows people to invest in real estate for as little as $100 from anywhere in the world , starting with a big investment also in Liberland
