The upgrade to Protocol v23 marks a significant movement for Pi Network, suggesting imminent progress towards its mainnet. As developers and community members engage, market effects will become evident upon mainnet launch.

Pi Network has taken a critical step by upgrading the testnet to Protocol v23. This action, documented on official channels, aligns with the network's goals towards its mainnet, engaging developers and community members alike in its final testing phase.

Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis and Dr. Chengdiao Fan are at the forefront, overseeing the network's transition. Their focus has centered on robust participation from developers and the community to ensure a smooth switch to mainnet operations.

Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, Founder & Head of Technology, Pi Network, stated, "Protocol v23 is live on Testnet. This marks the last phase before mainnet. Developers, validators, and community members are encouraged to participate in the review and stress testing phase."

Following the upgrade, Pi Coin's modest gains highlight the community's interest and growing confidence in Pi Network's future rollout. Engagement from developers increases as the testnet continues to run parallel with the thriving mainnet nodes.

No immediate financial market changes linked to the testnet upgrade have been reported, although stakeholders anticipate potential shifts post-mainnet launch. Attention remains on account mapping and balance progression for Pi users.

With the mainnet expected soon, outcomes such as institutional interest and possible integration into broader crypto ecosystems are anticipated. Historical data suggests mainnet launches generally ignite speculative trading and escalate token valuations.
