Phala Network has yet to officially announce its project, dstack, as a Linux Foundation initiative as of September 18, 2025.
The lack of confirmation leaves market reactions uncertain, with no significant impact on related cryptocurrencies or open-source project trends noted.
Speculation surrounds the supposed inclusion of dstack in the Linux Foundation. Despite conjecture, there is no official communication from either Phala Network or Linux Foundation confirming dstack's association.
The key stakeholders include notable industry names, but the absence of announcements regarding Phala or dstack leaves the situation unclear. The ongoing dialogue and rumors have generated interest within the crypto community.

The lack of a formal declaration has left the financial markets unaffected. No verifiable data suggests shifts in asset valuations or market sentiment. Most crypto forums show skepticism and are awaiting official statements.
Any potential financial or technological repercussions require official confirmation. Historical data indicates official endorsements can influence market dynamics, but uncertainty has so far curbed speculation. Previous project onboardings saw modest interest upticks.

Linux Foundation often integrates new projects, similar to past instances with EcoFlow and Red Hat. In those cases, an established notification boosted engagement, contrasting the current speculative chatter around dstack.
According to Kanalcoin, it's premature to predict outcomes without verifiable Linux Foundation declarations. Past onboarding announcements have catalyzed gradual adoption, but clear, factual reporting influences confidence and activity more than rumors.
