CoinRank’s AMA with Green X revealed its vision to bridge traditional finance and Web3. Discover how Green X builds a compliant RWA ecosystem and its future roadmap.
During our recent AMA session, we were joined by Karen, Strategic Partnership Officer at GreenX Lab, who shared deep insights into the company’s mission, strategy, and long-term vision. The conversation highlighted how GreenX is positioning itself as a bridge between traditional capital markets and the emerging world of digital assets.

A REGULATED FOUNDATION WITH GLOBAL REACH

GreenX is a subsidiary of GreenPro Capital Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed company (ticker: GRNQ) with more than a decade of experience in financial services. Operating under multiple financial licenses, GreenX differentiates itself from many Web3 projects by prioritizing compliance from the very beginning. It holds a digital asset exchange license from the Labuan Financial Services Authority in Malaysia, ensuring operations that meet stringent international standards.

This foundation of trust, transparency, and regulation is crucial. As Karen noted, institutional investors and traditional asset owners are far more likely to engage in on-chain trading when the platform they use is regulated and aligned with international compliance frameworks.

WHY START WITH AN EXCHANGE?

While most blockchain projects launch with a single product or service, GreenX chose a different path—beginning with a licensed exchange as the hub of its ecosystem. The reasoning is strategic: an exchange naturally drives liquidity, attracts investors, and serves as the entry point for asset issuance, trading, and pricing.

By establishing a compliant trading venue first, GreenX is able to provide a reliable foundation for subsequent products, such as quantitative tools, lending protocols, and synthetic asset solutions. In Karen’s words, this approach “creates a network effect,” allowing the exchange to serve not only as a marketplace but also as the gateway to the broader RWA ecosystem.

THE GREEN X ECOSYSTEM MATRIX

At the heart of GreenX’s strategy is what it calls the Web3 Ecosystem Matrix—a comprehensive framework that connects users, projects, and capital markets.

The Exchange (CEX): Serving as the traffic entry point, it anchors user trust and provides liquidity for tokenized real-world assets.

BigFive Network: A decentralized consensus layer that empowers projects and communities, bringing high-quality assets into the ecosystem and enabling innovative governance.

Syms Protocol: A synthetic asset engine that integrates structured products, financing mechanisms, and yield optimization tools, creating value across the ecosystem.

Together, these components form a self-reinforcing cycle: liquidity attracts assets, assets drive participation, and governance ensures sustainable growth.

BIGFIVE: A NEW PARADIGM FOR RWA INVESTMENT

The BigFive Network stood out as one of the AMA’s most discussed topics. Positioned as the long-term strategic hub of the GreenX ecosystem, BigFive integrates traditional capital market logic with blockchain-native innovation.

It achieves this through:

A global node partner network, decentralizing governance and liquidity provision.

Multi-chain auctions, enabling on-chain issuance of diverse assets such as RWAs, structured products, and NFTs.

Transparent profit distribution, powered by smart contracts that align incentives for users, projects, and capital providers.

This model not only lowers barriers for institutional investors but also creates a feedback loop of investment, governance, and return distribution—something traditional financial markets struggle to achieve.

ROADMAP:FROM COMPLIANCE TO EXPANSION

Looking ahead, GreenX has ambitious plans for the next 6–12 months. Key milestones include:

Launching the Global BigFive Partner Program to onboard individuals and institutions as node operators.

Completing the on-chain issuance of the first batch of RWAs, including assets with stable cash flows from the traditional economy.

Deepening integration between BigFive, Syms, and quantitative tools to unlock cross-ecosystem synergies.

Expanding community incentives and developer participation to drive sustainable ecosystem growth.

THE LONG-TERM VISION

Over the next one to three years, GreenX envisions BigFive evolving into a truly global financial infrastructure. The roadmap includes expanding asset types, integrating cross-chain capabilities, and building a unified platform for global liquidity.

The ultimate ambition, as Karen put it, is to transform GreenX into the “central nervous system” of Web3 capital markets—an investment gateway that provides users access to top-tier global assets, supports projects with end-to-end financing solutions, and delivers structured returns to capital markets.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

This AMA made one thing clear: GreenX is not simply building another exchange.

It is constructing a comprehensive financial ecosystem that connects regulated traditional finance with the decentralized possibilities of Web3. With compliance as its foundation and innovation as its driver, GreenX is setting itself apart in the rapidly evolving RWA landscape.
