Dogecoin's price has moved sharply higher, gaining 7% in the last 24 hours and trading at $0.2329. This increase comes alongside a strong rise in market capitalization, which has surpassed $35 billion. Daily trading volume has also surged, climbing more than 150% in a single day.

Market analyst Javon Marks has identified a recurring cycle pattern in Dogecoin’s long-term chart. The pattern includes accumulation phases followed by sharp rallies. Based on the latest structure, the next projected move could see the price reach $2.28. This would reflect a gain of more than 860% from current levels if the trend follows the earlier cycles.

On the one-day chart, Dogecoin has broken above a symmetrical triangle pattern. This breakout has also cleared a long-standing descending resistance line while forming higher lows, which supports a bullish continuation setup. The next resistance levels are noted at $0.247 and $0.288. A break beyond these zones could signal a push toward $0.42 to $0.54, in line with previous consolidation areas.

Optimism has grown around the potential approval of the Rex-Osprey Dogecoin ETF. According to Polymarket data, there is a 94% probability of approval. This has increased investor interest and has driven Dogecoin’s dominance in the ongoing altcoin rally. Trading volume surpassed $2.9 billion, significantly strengthening momentum across the meme coin space.

Altcoins follow DOGE lead as macro signals align

Several other digital assets, including XRP and Solana, have also posted gains amid speculation of a 50-basis-point rate cut by the Federal Reserve. The broader sentiment in crypto markets remains favorable for risk-on assets, further supporting Dogecoin’s recent breakout.

If Dogecoin sustains current momentum, price action could challenge and potentially surpass the $1 mark into 2026. Technical structure and cyclical patterns reinforce the view that the meme coin is entering a decisive phase, with buyers watching key resistance levels closely.
