Over the past five years, BNB Chain has grown from a single blockchain into a leading global ecosystem where millions of users build, trade, and create every day. The past twelve months were not just about progress. They were about acceleration. Together, we have taken a leap forward that sets the stage for the next era of Web3.

BNB Chain recorded more than 4.7 million daily active users, with BSC averaging 1.12 million and opBNB reaching new highs.
The Maxwell and Lorentz hard forks reduced block times to 0.75 seconds and lowered gas fees to as little as $0.001, further improving speed and accessibility.
Security also advanced. The BNB Goodwill Alliance cut sandwich attacks by 95 percent, contributing to an 87 percent drop in exploit losses on BSC.
Liquidity reached new highs with $319.4B in DEX trading volume, the highest across all chains, and stablecoin adoption surged to $11B in market cap and saving users around $5M in fees through the 0 Fee Stablecoin Carnival, making BNB Chain the leading blockchain for stablecoin transactions and active users.
The broader ecosystem expanded with TVL peaking at $14B, unique BSC addresses surpassing 615 million, and more than 5,000 projects now building on BNB Chain. Real-world asset adoption accelerated with Securitize and VanEck’s vBILL onchain U.S. Treasuries, Backed Finance’s tokenized equities listed on Kraken, and Ondo Financeintegrating BNB Chain into its Global Markets platform. These milestones were reinforced by the RWA Incentive Program, which is driving further adoption of real-world assets on BNB Chain.
Builder Support
BNB Chain has supported over 200 projects through its Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program, which recently expanded into a 10-week global residency. The latest BNB Hackathon recognized 9 winners and 50 honorable mentions in AI, DeFi, DePIN, and DeSoc.
The Builder Bunker opened as a dedicated basecamp for developers and founders to collaborate and scale with direct support.
Community Growth
BNB Chain’s community now spans more than 100 countries with over 4 million followersworldwide. The BNB Chain Annual Awards recognized ecosystem leaders and rising stars, while the updated Martians Program empowered community members to drive adoption globally.
Roadmap Ahead
Looking ahead, BNB Chain will roll out upgrades including:

10x capacity with gas limits expanding to 10G (supporting up to 5,000 DEX swaps per second)

Ultra-fast finality under 150ms and throughput of 20,000 TPS

Next-level security with seamless authentication, key rotation, and native multi-sig support

These upgrades aim to establish the infrastructure for a new generation of decentralized applications across DeFi, gaming, AI, and beyond.
About BNB Chain
BNB Chain is a community-driven blockchain ecosystem that is removing barriers to Web3 adoption. It is composed of:

BNB Smart Chain (BSC): A secure DeFi hub with the lowest gas fees of any EVM-compatible L1; serves as the ecosystem’s governance chain.

opBNB: A scalability L2 that delivers some of the lowest gas fees of any L2 and rapid processing speeds.

BNB Greenfield: Meets decentralized storage needs for the ecosystem and lets users establish their own data marketplaces.

Setting a high bar for security, the AvengerDAO community protects BNB Chain users while Red Alarm provides a real-time risk-scanner for Dapps. The ecosystem also offers a range of monetary and ecosystem rewards as part of its Builder Support Program. Tooling, such as the AI Solution, is also available for developers to explore.
