The Indonesian conglomerate has partnered with Space and Time to provide verifiable education and trustless payments onchain throughout Indonesia.

In a move that advances how education is accessed, accredited and funded in emerging markets, Indomobil Group, an Indonesian business group with multiple publicly traded entities (IMAS, IMJS), has partnered with Space Time Foundation to launch a new initiative that will bring verifiable education to as many as 50,000+ Indonesian students.
The program leverages Space and Time to store proof of course completion on SXT Chain, enabling students to prove their credentials when applying for jobs or continuing their education. It also utilizes SXT, the native token of Space and Time, as the payment rails for seamless, direct, and verifiable access to education courses.
Until now, families—many of whom are unbanked—paid tuition in cash to local schools, which then relied on intermediaries to convert and transfer funds to education providers. The process was slow, difficult to scale, and placed a burden on both schools managing the payments and families with limited access to financial infrastructure.
The new program eliminates the need for banks, cash handling, and intermediaries. Parents and students facilitate their education by transferring SXT token to their respective local schools and completed coursework is submitted and verified onchain, bringing education of Indonesian students squarely at the forefront of modern technology. With SXT, all education-related transactions are processed seamlessly, making education access faster, more transparent, and more reliable for communities traditionally excluded from financial infrastructure.. This gives students direct access to modern education and financial systems with the ability to verify their education, credentials and coursework to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
“Indomobil has always believed in building long-term infrastructure that supports national development,” said Jusak Kertowidjojo, President Director of Indomobil Group. “Education is a critical part of that. Our partnership with Space and Time and MakeInfinite Labs allows us to lead the world in efficient, transparent, and verifiable education. We’re pleased to leverage Space and Time to support a model that reduces friction for students and families while improving how payments are managed across the system.”
Space and Time powers the backend infrastructure for the program, indexing every transaction and making all payment and education data instantly accessible and verifiable. From student payments to school disbursements to course completion, every step is recorded onchain. In a system where payments move without intermediaries, data is the only source of truth. Space and Time ensures that every transaction can be independently traced and verified, providing the transparency and accountability needed to scale the program.
“We are thrilled that Indomobil leverages the Space and Time technology to modernize and expand access to education for thousands of students,” said Nate Holiday, cofounder of the Space and Time network. “Blockchain offers a faster, more transparent, and more inclusive alternative to traditional payment systems. In the financial infrastructure of the future, data is currency. Every transaction must be trusted, traced, and verified, because the data itself is what moves the value. Space and Time makes that possible.”
By removing financial barriers and ensuring verifiability through Space and Time, the program both creates a new model for delivering education at scale and solving the unbanked dilemma in emerging countries.
