The highly anticipated DePIN Expo 2025 was successfully held from August 27 to 28 at Cyberport, Hong Kong. As an innovative leader in the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) sector, the DPIN Foundation and its core team played a significant role in the event. Through a series of high-impact keynote speeches and industry dialogues, DPIN systematically articulated its profound insights into the "DePIN 2.0" era and demonstrated how its revolutionary Composable Software Business (CSB) framework is bridging the industry's "Enterprise Application Gap," guiding DePIN into a new phase of large-scale implementation.
Over the two-day event, DPIN's core members not only shared forward-looking industry perspectives but also used practical case studies to showcase the formidable strength and future vision of the DPIN ecosystem to a global audience of developers, investors, and enterprises.
<h2 id="header-0">Keynote by Chris Bian Ong: From "Infrastructure Ready" to "Intelligent Application Led"</h2>
Chris Bian Ong, a DPIN Foundation Council Member, delivered an in-depth keynote speech titled "Enterprise Reimagined: Making DePIN Real for Enterprise Applications."
Chris pointed out that the DePIN industry has successfully accomplished the mission of "DePIN 1.0"—bootstrapping a vast and resilient decentralized physical infrastructure network through tokenomics. "The machine is ready," Chris emphasized, "but the real challenge is, what kind of intelligent applications should we run on these powerful networks?"
He precisely identified the core bottleneck currently facing the industry: the "Enterprise Application Gap." Despite the trillion-dollar market potential of DePIN, enterprise-grade applications remain scarce. He argued that rigid traditional software development models and general-purpose AI lacking domain-specific knowledge fail to meet the stringent enterprise requirements for compliance, security, governance, and performance.
To address this, DPIN has introduced the revolutionary CSB framework. Chris likened it to "intelligent LEGOs," allowing developers to increase application development speed by over 60% by combining modular, intelligent components to build complex systems that are impossible under traditional models. Using XBRL Stream as a prime example, he vividly demonstrated how CSB integrates specialized AI agents, a Web3 trust layer (blockchain audit), and a DePIN infrastructure layer (distributed GPU compute) to transform a complex, error-prone manual process into an efficient, trustworthy, and automated intelligent workflow. This provides a clear implementation path for the large-scale adoption of DePIN technology in the enterprise sector.

<h2 id="header-1">Industry Leader Dialogue: DPIN Explores the Future OS of DePIN</h2>
In addition to his keynote, Chris Bian Ong was invited to a high-level panel discussion titled "How does DePIN become the gateway to global new infrastructure in the new OS of the real world?" Alongside industry leaders from renowned organizations such as CGV, peaq, and Hyra Network, Chris engaged in a deep discussion on enterprise-level challenges like DePIN governance, data sovereignty, and integration with existing systems, sharing DPIN's unique insights and practical experience in balancing decentralized principles with enterprise needs.

<h2 id="header-2">Dr. Aima on DePIN: A Panoramic Showcase of the DPIN Ecosystem</h2>
During the Open Stage session, Dr. Aima Koh, President of Education at DPIN, presented a comprehensive overview of the DPIN ecosystem. She began by analyzing the inevitable trend of AI and DePIN convergence, pointing out that with compute power monopolized by tech giants, DePIN is the key path to breaking data monopolies and driving the future development of AI.
Dr. Aima detailed DPIN's full-dimensional compute strategy, which involves a tiered, heterogeneous layout of high-end (e.g., H100/H200), mid-tier (e.g., RTX 4090), and low-end (e.g., RTX 4070) GPU resources. This creates a "Compute-as-a-Service (CaaS)" economic loop to meet the full spectrum of needs, from large-scale model training to lightweight edge applications.

Furthermore, she highlighted the core application scenarios of the DPIN ecosystem, including tailored Private AI solutions for enterprises, a low-latency cloud gaming platform, and the strategic hardware gateway—the DPIN ONE Web3 + AI phone. This suite of products and services constitutes DPIN's complete ecosystem loop, from underlying compute power and upper-level applications to end-user hardware.

<h2 id="header-3">DPIN Empowers DePIN 2.0 to Co-create an Intelligent Future</h2>
Through its comprehensive showcase at DePIN Expo 2025, DPIN clearly communicated its core vision to the world. This vision posits that the future of DePIN will not be monopolized by a few giants but will be an open ecosystem for all participants and builders. DPIN's strategic positioning clearly indicates that through its innovative CSB framework and powerful ecosystem, it is providing the entire industry with a replicable methodology and toolset. DPIN is committed to becoming the core engine driving the "DePIN 2.0" intelligent application era, leading the way toward a more efficient, transparent, and equitable decentralized future.
