Hey there, this week’s social media roundup is chaos as usual, from OAU’s fashion police and the lingering GMO seed saga. We’ve packed it with punchy metaphors and elaborate spins, leaving the tweet-cooking to you. Dear readers, drop your spicy takes in the comments or on social media. Let’s dive into the digital circus.

The 2006 murder of the PDP governorship hopeful remains a cold case, and this anniversary has social media users pirouetting through old clues and new speculations.

In case you are lost shaa…Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) seeds are seeds that have been scientifically altered to improve certain traits like resistance to pests, drought tolerance, or faster growth, by inserting specific genes from other organisms.

Unlike traditional crossbreeding, which takes generations, genetic modification allows scientists target and introduce desired traits more precisely and quickly. Supporters argue that GMO seeds can help boost food security, reduce pesticide use, and withstand climate change.

Critics, however, worry about long-term health effects, environmental risks, and the control large biotech companies may have over seed supply. In Nigeria, the debate often blends science with distrust in regulatory bodies and fears of corporate exploitation.
