Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus has sparked fresh discussion in the crypto community after issuing a sarcastic warning about an unusual cause of market crashes. According to Markus, visiting the real estate website Zillow during a crypto rally could instantly crash digital asset prices. 
Known on social media as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, Markus <a href="https://x.com/BillyM2k/status/1946054891727700254" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted the warning on X</a>, formerly Twitter, where he regularly comments on market trends with humor. He wrote, “Remember, no matter how big Crypto gets, never open Zillow; it?ll crash immediately.” 
He then proceeded to another line, stating, “I guess we crashed because someone opened Zillow,” further enhancing the joke. 
Although obviously intended as a joke, the post is indicative of the critique of market speculation and volatility that Markus has embraced. His remarks arrive as the cryptocurrency market has been experiencing rising prices, which have been both exciting and raising concerns among investors.
