Gate.io has launched the SGC token, associated with KAI Battle of Three Kingdoms, through a series of events from June 13, 2025, aiming to distribute 90 million SGC and Alpha Points.
Gate.io introduces SGC, potentially impacting staking and trading volume, enhancing community rewards and engagement.
The SGC token, initiated on the BNB Chain, is featured in Gate.io's latest activity. The platform released 90 million SGC and Alpha Points for staking and event engagement. Participants can earn rewards by staking GateToken and BTC.
Led by Gate Alpha, the event encourages asset engagement through staking. No official statements have been made by Gate.io's leadership or well-known figures regarding the launch. The exclusive Token Generation Event required the use of CEX Alpha Points.
The launch primarily targets SGC issuance, encouraging cross-asset engagement. However, no direct effect on other major Layer 1 tokens like ETH is observed. The event aims to increase liquidity for GateToken and BTC.
No public statements or endorsements from major crypto KOLs regarding the SGC launch have been documented in official channels.
There are no declarations from major crypto stakeholders regarding SGC's regulatory impact. Market response remains undetermined as on-chain metrics are yet to be disclosed. Historical trends suggest such campaigns increase trading volumes temporarily.
The SGC event aligns with Gate.io's pattern of hosting similar campaigns, enhancing market visibility. Its outcome on regulatory measures and user engagement will reflect longer-term implications. Continued monitoring of Gate.io's channels will inform stakeholders of future developments. Read original article on tokentopnews.com
