Self Chain, a popular modular, intent-centric L1 blockchain, has commenced a new partnership with Crust Network, a Substrate-built layer 1 chain. The joint effort is focused on revolutionizing the decentralized storage by combining the strengths of both the companies. The platform took to its official X account to reveal this development.

Self Chain and Crust Network Join Forces to Deliver Seamless and Secure Decentralized Storage

As a part of this collaboration, Self Chain will leverage the IPFS-based layer of Crust Network for storage. It will be combined with the cutting-edge keyless wallet mechanism and intent-focused execution model of Self Chain. The respective synergy will deliver seamless, consumer-friendly, and secure experience while accessing the Web3-based decentralized storage.

Crust Network has been getting substantial attention among the top decentralized storage platforms in the market. Boasting over 1K nodes across the globe and up to 700 petabytes in terms of storage capacity, the platform provides permissionless and scalable file storage services for personal files, NFT metadata, dApps, and websites. Currently, in partnership with Self Chain, it permits consumers and developers to enjoy an exclusive interaction experience with intent-based execution of storage.

Hence, rather than navigating through complex, multi-step transfers and manual authorizations, consumers can simply describe their intended activity. The key activities in this respect include retrieving or uploading files. Following that, the execution layer of Self Chain efficiently tackles the rest. This specifically impacts multi-chain atmospheres, which are marked by complexity that hinders their adoption.

In addition to this, the partnership also offers keyless security mechanism by utilizing MPC-TSS as well as Account Abstraction. Particularly, Account Abstraction and Multi-Party Computation – Threshold Signature Scheme (MPC-TSS) technologies eliminate the requirement for conventional private keys and seed phrases. Thus, the keyless model permits consumers to interact with the storage marketplace of Crust in a secure way, without any compromise on flexibility or control.

Setting New Standards for Web3 Experiencing by Merging Intelligent Automation

According to Self Chain, its modular architecture becomes significantly simpler after onboarding storage ecosystem of Crust Network. Thus, the collaboration not just decreases technical hindrances by also paves the way for relatively resilient storage layer, complemented with the execution-first design of Self Chain. Together, both the entities are redefining the Web3 experience with programmable and reliable storage services by merging intelligent automation and infrastructure resilience.
