In March 2025, threat actors on similar platforms claimed to have breached crypto exchange <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/binance/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>, putting over 132,000 individuals’ data including emails and passwords up for sale.<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DarkWebInformer/status/1904898332079632700 </div></figure>Binance promptly refuted the claims, stating that internal investigation by its security team found no evidence that the data leak originated from its platform.&nbsp;Shortly after, another notice <a href="https://crypto.news/over-100k-gemini-customer-data-allegedly-up-for-sale-on-the-dark-web-report/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">emerged</a> involving Gemini.
