To bridge Web2 with Web3 according to its mission Neo X established a new partnership with Foundation for Interwallet Operability (FIO). The FIO Protocol integration under this partnership with Neo X will deliver enhanced accessible blockchain features throughout the Neo X ecosystem.
The FIO Protocol functions as an open-source usability layer which operates as a decentralized platform to improve functionality within all blockchains and tokens along with crypto applications. The FIO Handle stands as a crucial innovation because it provides users with a user-friendly identifier yourname@neo that simplifies access to multiple wallet addresses with one memorable name. Through simple usernames instead of complicated alphanumeric wallet addresses the joint venture wants to improve blockchain interactions and develop stronger user trust relationships.
Within the Neo X environment users will acquire the ability to establish and operate their FIO Handles to enhance the blockchain transaction experience for sending, receiving, requesting and signing blockchain operations.
“Neo has always believed that for Web3 to truly take off, it must feel as intuitive and seamless as Web2 — without sacrificing decentralization. By integrating FIO Protocol into Neo X, we’re taking another step toward that goal, making blockchain more approachable for everyone, regardless of technical experience.” John Wang, Head of EcoGrowth at Neo
User-oriented innovation represents a shared objective that brings these organizations together through their partnership. Better usability enables both active blockchain subscribers and fresh decentralized economy participants to join the network.
“Previous technology adoption cycles have shown that usability is key to ensuring mass adoption and provides the guiding star for our team at FIO as we work to remove complexities in crypto and Web3. We are excited to be collaborating with Neo, as we work together to make digital assets accessible and easy to use for everyone.” Wayne Marcel, Head of Growth, FIO
Before deploying the integration officially Neo and FIO conduct necessary preparations. A future promotion to get users to sign up for FIO Handles registration will start soon. Stay informed about this partnership through future announcement.
