This landmark event aims to align crypto innovation with global compliance, fostering dialogue among regulators, industry leaders, and innovators to shape a trusted and sustainable Web3 ecosystem.
Hosted at the prestigious Peregrine Ballroom, One&amp;Only Royal Mirage, the forum will bring together 14 top-tier partners across the legal, regulatory, and infrastructure landscapes—including AWS, Deloitte, <a href="https://news.bitcoin.com/lbank-partners-with-elliptic-to-enhance-compliance-and-security-in-global-expanding/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Elliptic</a>, Fireblocks, and VerifyVASP. The event will feature two high-level panel discussions, offering practical insights into the future of compliant crypto infrastructure.
Specifically, the first panel—titled “Smart Rules: Building Trust Through Embedded Compliance”—will feature Dr. Ayesha Binlootah, Assistant Vice President at the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), as the key speaker and will be moderated by Maleesha Gunawardana, LBank’s UAE Compliance Lead. Other industry leaders on the panel include ShihYun Chia, CEO at VerifyVASP; Dr. James Smith, Founder of Elliptic; and Jason Allegrante, Chief Legal &amp; Compliance Officer at Fireblocks. By convening these influential voices, the forum aims to drive actionable insights, align innovation with regulatory excellence, and shape a secure, compliant future for Web3.
The second panel, titled “Global Playbooks: Navigating Compliance Across Jurisdictions,” will be moderated by Harshil Agarwal, Senior Advisor at TLP Advisors. This session will feature a diverse group of experts: Will Liao, Head of Research &amp; Innovation at PolyFlow; Sarah Xia, Head of Payment Partnerships of Wello; Mandy Ma, Senior Counsel at ALJAMHOR LAW; and Rajesh Mohan FRM CPA, Digital Assets, Treasury &amp; Traded-Risk Management Lead at Deloitte Middle East. This panel will explore strategies for navigating the complex regulatory landscapes across different jurisdictions, offering actionable insights for global compliance in the Web3 space.
<blockquote>
 “We’re excited to gather with regulators, compliance experts, and Web3 innovators at the upcoming forum to dive into the intersection of innovation and compliance, and explore where law meets technology,” said David Gu, General Counsel of LBank. “The UAE has set a global benchmark for the virtual asset space with its open and forward-looking regulatory environment, and we have great respect for VARA’s leadership in driving responsible innovation. ’Code is Law’ remains a powerful and relevant idea today, and this forum will build on that, sparking conversations and insights around bridging code with regulation, and innovation with compliance. We believe that dialogue, collaboration, and consensus are key to driving technology for good. We look forward to connecting with global thought leaders to help shape a trusted, resilient, and sustainable digital asset ecosystem.”
