Donald Trump's tariff dealt a massive blow to the financial ecosystem on Monday, and it saw most traditional and decentralized assets bleeding value. Wall Street Journal reported that S&P 500 has tumbled towards a bear market and Bitcoin dropped below $75K before a panic rally set off to push the BTC price above the $80K level.
While most of the community is waiting for a clearer picture about the market to arrive, CryptoQuant CEO has come with a humbling prediction: Bitcoin's bull cycle has concluded. If true, it would mean the industry would pivot to alternate cryptos with better fundamentals.

Widening Gap Between Market Cap and Realized Cap Indicates a Bear Market - CryptoQuant CEO

CryptoQuant CEO, Ki Young Ju, has cited the growing divergence between realized cap and market cap as the reason behind his bearish prediction.
Realized cap is an onchain metric that tracks the average cost basis of Bitcoin holdings, reflecting capital inflows. On the other hand, the market capitalization is based on Bitcoin's last traded price, and it is used to measure the perceived value of the asset.
According to Ki Young Ju, when the market cap stagnates, the realized cap rises, which means that capital is entering into the market without value appreciation, which is an indicator of a bearish phase.
The image above clearly shows that the realized cap of Bitcoin is currently around the $105K mark in relation to the real market cap, which is only around $80K.
When there is a bull market, the market cap surges while the realized cap stagnates, which is indicative of bullish momentum caused due to speculative buying.
That said, the CryptoQuant CEO does admit that this method of predicting bullish or bearish phases does not take chain exchange into account. Furthermore, cryptocurrencies have historically defied established patterns, which could happen this time too, especially considering the crypto bullishness of the Trump administration and the emergence of progressive crypto regulations across the globe.
Czechia, for instance, has recently removed Bitcoin capital gains tax after three years, making way for the crypto ecosystem to grow.
That being said, users shouldn't be blind to the traditional market dynamics either. There is a reason why so many experts rely on them to make their predictions. Therefore, if there is a bear market, the best crypto to buy now should be purchased as soon as possible.

Best Crypto to Buy Now - Altcoins That Could Still Deliver Gains

BTC Bull

Despite what Cryptoquant CEO says, it is not set in stone that the bear season will continue for a long time. It is because of all the noise due to institutional investments, retail investors and their impact on the Bitcoin market isn't much talked about.
These investors could create bullish communities that could mobilize the Bitcoin price. Such is the idea of BTC Bull. Carrying an iconic image of a Bull wearing a Bitcoin medal, BTC Bull is a meme coin project that tries to capitalize on Bitcoin's growth while creating a community that could give the BTC value a push.
It has done so by implementing token burns and Bitcoin airdrops that will happen whenever Bitcoin surges by $25K after it attains the $100K level. The meme coin will keep unlocking the mechanics until Bitcoin reaches the $250K level, at which point a BTC Bull airdrop will be launched.
The idea is to funnel Bitcoin's growth to BTC Bull. However, at each step, investors will be incentivized to hold their BTC tokens since immediately selling off Bitcoin after getting it through an airdrop would drop the BTC price. This unique style gives BTC Bull, an otherwise limited utility token, massive value as an altcoin that could still deliver major levels of gains.

SUBBD

While speculation and the broader market dynamics are the reason behind Bitcoin's recent drop, it is important to note that utility tokens may not follow the same train of thought.
SUBBD, for instance, is a crypto powering a new form of creator economy. Modeled after OnlyFans, SUBBD offers a decentralized ecosystem where creators can get a bigger piece of their revenue while getting access to administrative tools that makes their life simpler so they could focus on content creation and less on menial tasks.
For instance, there are tools planned for SUBBD that would allow content creators to fulfill custom requests automatically. AI content generation will also be added to further give fans more value.
Fans will also have access to more features on SUBBD. Their interactions with their favorite content creators won't be skin-deep anymore, as SUBBD will introduce gamification and credit points. These are engagement-based, giving users access to more exclusive perks the more points they accumulate.

Earn. Unlock. Enjoy. SUBBD rewards our loyal users 🔥We're bringing quests to the world of SUBBD, complete tasks to stack up your points, and use them to earn exclusive content 😉Play-to-win on SUBBD ❤️ pic.twitter.com/xYqQJYMuoC

Overall, SUBBD could be one of the best cryptos to buy now for those looking for assets with more utility. Utility-based tokens could insulate themselves from traditional market dynamics, and rely on other factors, in SUBBD's case, fan engagement, to move up in value.

Best Wallet Token

Best Wallet Token powers a cryptocurrency wallet known as Best Wallet. Being instrumental in launching some of the best crypto presales in 2024, Best Wallet is an ecosystem that offers more than just the ability to swap and store cryptos.
As already mentioned, one of the core attributes of this wallet is the Token Launchpad, also known as Upcoming Tokens, which allows users to invest in crypto presales while they are at their zero stage. Holding the BEST token will give users an even earlier access to these cryptos.
Next utility is portfolio management, which Best Wallet accomplishes through a wallet aggregator. This perk is yet to emerge, but since Best Wallet is a decentralized ecosystem based on a DAO, it could happen any day.
Best Wallet is also a suitable platform to buy, swap and store Bitcoin, especially now since the project supports the Bitcoin chain. Other perks that Best Wallet offers include staking, and buying crypto using fiat.
Best Wallet is also known for robust security features as well as being a self-custodial wallet, which, according to crypto analyst 99Bitcoins, has now become more important than ever.
Therefore, when new Bitcoin buyers arrive, Best Wallet offers the perfect solution for beginners. Its other tools also offer immense value. As for Best Wallet Token, considering it has raised over $11 million during presale, it could be considered one of the best crypto presales to invest in.

Bitcoin Could be Entering a Bearish Phase, but Hope Still Remains

Bitcoin may be entering the bearish phase, if the Cryptoquant CEO is to be believed, but that's not to say that profit opportunities have vanished. Institutions such as MicroStrategy are still biding their time to see when BTC will hit the bottom, and as for retail investors, hope remains in the form of presale cryptos.
Innovative projects are delivered through these ICOs, and since many of them have long-term value, they could stand strong even after the launch, bringing long-term profits to users. That said, it is important to remember that these assets won't be completely insulated from the traditional market dynamics. Therefore, investing wisely is important.
