<p>In a recent <a href="https://x.com/Metaplanet_JP/status/1902891959657889836" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announcement</a>, Metaplanet cited Eric’s expertise in real estate, finance, and brand development as reasons for his addition. The company noted that these experiences would help Metaplanet grow as a major player in the Bitcoin economy.</p> 
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition, Metaplanet’s CEO Simon Gerovich said Eric’s support for Bitcoin made him a valuable addition. The company is working to become a leading Bitcoin Treasury firm, and they believe Eric’s network and influence will accelerate their vision.</span></p>
