While the US investment company Rex Shares' spot ETF application for Dogecoin (DOGE), BONK and TRUMP made a big splash in the cryptocurrency market, Bloomberg ETF analysts made important statements about the approval schedule of these ETFs.
As is known, Rex Shares, which has $8 billion in assets under management, applied for a series of spot ETFs yesterday, including TRUMP, Dogecoin and BONK.
While the first ETF applications for DOGE, TRUMP, and BONK have arrived, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas suggested that the first ETFs for Dogecoin (DOGE) and the Official Trump (TRUMP) memecoin could be launched as early as April.

 “The nice thing about the DOGE/TRUMP ETF application is that these are applications made under the 1940 Act and therefore could be launched as early as April (75 days after application).
 At this point, these ETFs could surpass XRP, Solana, Litecoin ETFs because they have to file 19b-4s with a 240-day period. But the SEC's response to these ETFs is a big unknown.”

Another Bloomberg ETF analyst, James Seyffart, also noted that the ETF application was made under the Investment Company Act of 1940, adding, “These products filed under the 1940 Act have followed the path of crypto futures ETFs. This seems like a playbook that issuers use in the commodity ETF world to avoid the K-1, but I don't know.”
KoinBX CEO Saravanan Pandian sees tremendous potential in memecoin ETFs like DOGE, saying, “I think a Dogecoin ETF could come sooner than expected if the regulatory environment becomes harmonious. And we could see it formalized as early as April, which could open up new opportunities in the digital asset space.”
