Dubbed the “Strategic Hub for Innovation in Blockchain (S.H.I.B)”, the $2.35 billion plan aims to create a Silicon Valley-like hub for blockchain technology. This hub would boost the U.S. economy, generate annual revenues of $5 billion, and create 20,000 jobs.Notably, not only has Donald Trump been most vocal about cryptocurrency but has together with his sons <a href="https://www.ethnews.com/donald-trump-unveils-wlfi-token-sale-amid-presidential-campaign-push/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ventured</a> into this new asset class. With the President’s pro-crypto stance, Sytoshi’s proposal has a great likelihood of being given special attention compared to alternatives like a Kamala Harris-led government.
