BaseSwap

BaseSwap is thrilled to introduce Russell, the first community token to join our Decentralized Incubation Program (DIP). Not only does $RUSSELL bring strong meme culture and community-driven energy to Base, but it also represents the best of what the Base ecosystem has to offer.

Originally, Russell, the Akita Inu of Coinbase co-founder Brian Armstrong, stole the spotlight after he was featured in Armstrong’s wedding ceremony. A comment left by family friend Emily Hanks further fueled the mystery, calling out “Russell” as the dog’s name. This inspired a wave of social media speculation and made Russell a community favorite, quickly symbolizing the fun side of Base.
