Justin Drake from the Ethereum Foundation has decided to step down from his advisory role at EigenLayer. This decision comes in response to concerns about conflicts of interest raised by the <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/bbva-expands-crypto-services-to-include-usdc/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto</a> community.

Drake stated that he negotiated his role in good faith. However, many believe that the position at EigenLayer was incompatible with his responsibilities at Ethereum.
