The wallet’s glitch temporarily puzzled users over inaccurate account balances during a crucial airdrop event.&nbsp;

The timing of Phantom’s downtime was quite challenging. It coincided with a highly anticipated token airdrop event from Solana-based decentralized app Grass.&nbsp;
The airdrop event, which distributed 10% of GRASS tokens, saw some users encountering transaction errors and balance inaccuracies. This Phantom’s unexpected outage added confusion to the users’ excitement.&nbsp;

On the Phantom status page, a major issue tag was displayed. This tag underscored the seriousness of the incident. However, the team continued to work behind the scenes to resolve the incident fully.&nbsp;
In an X post, Phantom swiftly addressed the issue. Users were reassured that their funds were safe to calm any jitters that might have arisen.
The platform urged users to be patient and advised them to bypass simulation errors. This is by switching to a decentralized app (dapp) if there is a need for an urgent transaction.&nbsp;
The <a href="https://status.phantom.app/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">page</a> currently shows that all systems are operational, including the browser extension and the mobile app. The glitch started around 13:00 UTC and was resolved by 16:40 UTC. Phantom’s quick responses show a consistent priority on user security and transparency.
As of this writing, the glitch has been removed, and all stations are now working.
