Murad, a cryptocurrency analyst, projects a significant rise in the value of meme coins, anticipating their market cap might exceed $100 billion by 2025. He shared these insights during an interview on the Handsome Finance YouTube channel, emphasizing the evolving role of meme coins in digital asset markets.

According to Murad, the future of meme coins hinges heavily on their communities, termed “Cults” for their intense loyalty and engagement. He believes that the key to successful investment in meme coins is less about short-term market fluctuations and more about the depth of community engagement and the innovative use of blockchain technologies these coins foster.
Murad explains that with thousands of meme coins launching daily, identifying potential winners is becoming increasingly challenging. His investment strategy, therefore, focuses on coins with established communities and proven resilience in the market. He avoids new launches, preferring coins that have been in the market long enough to demonstrate stability and recovery from downturns.
He highlighted the coin S&P 6900 as an example, describing it as a “movement coin,” which transcends traditional meme coin categories by embodying a philosophy or movement rather than merely serving as digital collectibles.
Murad’s support for such coins is based on their potential to engage broad audiences and influence larger financial movements, similar to how Bitcoin has impacted the financial sector.
Murad’s approach is data-driven, relying on in-depth analysis of on-chain metrics, market capitalization, and community engagement to make investment decisions. He believes that investing in meme coins with strong communities can yield significant returns, reflecting a broader shift in cryptocurrency investments towards assets that offer both cultural and financial value.
