Yakovenko argues that many of these positions, ideally suited for California or other U.S. locations, have been outsourced overseas due to what he describes as governmental inefficiency.
Yakovenko’s critique emerges amidst broader concerns regarding the U.S. labor market, which recent data suggests is experiencing a slowdown. According to the latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) from the U.S. Department of Labor, job openings decreased to 7.7 million, a drop from the previous 8.18 million and lower than the expected 8.1 million.&nbsp;
