Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, lists some altcoins with a seed tag. This is because these altcoins are more volatile and risky than other listed altcoins.
At this point, Binance stated that it will remove the seed tag from some altcoins and add tracking tags to others.
Binance announced that it will expand the Tracking Tag for altcoins BLZ, CLV, KEY, PROS, and VITE, while removing the Seed Tag for PENDLE and SEI.

 “Based on recent reviews, Binance will expand the Watch Tag to more altcoins and remove the Seed Tag for some altcoins on 03.10.202.
 The altcoins that will be added to the Watch Tag list are:
 Bluzelle (BLZ), CLV (CLV), SelfKey (KEY), Prosper (PROS), VITE (VITE)
 The altcoins that will have their Seed Tag removed are:
 The tokens that will be removed from the Seed Tag list are:
 Pendle (PENDLE) and Sei (SEI)
 Altcoins with a Watch Label exhibit significantly higher volatility and risk than other listed altcoins. These altcoins are closely monitored and undergo regular reviews. Please note that altcoins with a Watch Label are at risk of not meeting our listing criteria and being removed from the platform.
 On the other hand, altcoins with a Seed Tag represent new, innovative projects that may exhibit higher volatility and risk compared to other listed altcoins.”
