<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitfarms-set-to-boost-mining-capacity-with-quebec-expansion/">Bitfarms</a> has announced plans to double its operational capacity in 2025, aiming to reach 21 EH/s. The company continues to expand its facilities in <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/alberta-stanovitsya-centrom-majninga-v-kanade-2/">Canada</a>, the U.S., <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitfarms-expands-bitcoin-mining-with-renewable-energy-in-paraguay/">Paraguay</a>, and Argentina. 
Recent agreements and equipment upgrades will enable Bitfarms to increase <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoin-miners-set-for-a-tough-ride-as-2024-halving-nears-jp-morgan/">hash rate</a> and improve energy efficiency. CEO Ben Gagnon noted that nearly 50% of the company's capacity will be based in the U.S. 
Bitfarms' strategy focuses on strengthening its position in the global Bitcoin mining market, considering increasing competition and the upcoming <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/heat-waves-and-halving-bitcoin-miners-cash-in-amid-rising-prices/">halving</a>.
