However, recent figures indicate a strong fourth quarter for these funds. Spot Ethereum ETFs are gaining traction, highlighting a competitive landscape within the <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/crypto-currencies-2023-2024-commentary-analyst-who-predicted-the-crash-reveals-whats-next/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency</a> asset management sector.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Nate Geraci, president of the ETF Store, noted that BlackRock’s iShares ETHA fund stood out last week with assets exceeding $1 billion. ETHA ranked in the top 20% of best-performing funds. Geraci remarked, “The BlackRock fund is leading, and ETHA is positioned in the top 20%.”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Since starting trading at the end of July, ETHA attracted a net inflow of $95.5 million last week. Fidelity’s FETH fund followed with a net inflow of $64.8 million, securing its second position.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Considering all funds, Grayscale reported a net outflow of $2.89 billion, leading to a total net loss of $522.6 million. This trend resulted in an overall decline within the sector.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Despite the strong performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, derivative-based products continue to dominate discussions. BlackRock’s IBIT fund received approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (<a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/bitcoin-price-surges-to-new-highs-before-sharp-decline/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SEC</a>) for spot Bitcoin ETF options. Michael Saylor commented, “This will accelerate institutional Bitcoin adoption.”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas from Bloomberg stated that this development represents a significant win for spot Bitcoin ETFs and will enhance liquidity. He noted, “This is a major win for spot Bitcoin ETFs.” Additionally, recently approved leveraged funds allow long positions on BTC through MSTR, holding $429 million in assets, representing 20% of upcoming ETFs in 2024.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Overall, spot Ethereum ETFs show robust growth, while derivative-based products are expected to create significant market impacts. Although Grayscale’s large outflows disrupt market balance, the performance of major players like BlackRock and Fidelity signals positive trends.</p>
