Nowadays, a slower pace has been seen in the installation of traditional ATMs (ATMs used for transactions related to the national currency of a nation) globally. However, finance experts argue that the decline seems to be fueled by the surged adoption of ATMs facilitating services related to cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;
It is crucial to note that a shift in acceptance of cryptos as a payment mode has grown in San Francisco; over 100 businesses in the region now accept payment in cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;
San Francisco has some deep ties with Bitcoin, as in the early days of cryptocurrencies, the region was the most preferred meeting place. Yet, the place remains one of the most favorite places to arrange meetings and other crypto-based events.&nbsp;
Crypto Banking 2024, a report byCoincub, notes that “ San Francisco is a center for cryptocurrency, including over 100 businesses accepting crypto payments and more than 400 crypto ATMs.”&nbsp; 
It further notes that crypto-friendly banks such as Anchorage Digital, Juno Bank, and Series FI, among others, have their headquarters in SF.&nbsp;
The report identified Dallas, Phoenix, Boston, San Diego, Portland, and Detroit as some major crypto hubs in the United States.&nbsp; US Leads Crypto Market Despite Regulatory Scrutiny 
According to the data fromCoinatmradar, the U.S. has 31461 crypto ATMs, followed by Canada with 3115 ATMs, Australia with 1195 ATMs, Spain with 310 ATMs, and Poland with 284 ATMs, including other nations.&nbsp; Source: Coinatmradar 
Los Angeles leads the list of the most crypto-based ATMs with 1640 ATMs, followed by Houston as it has around 1289 ATMs, Atlanta has 846, Miami has 738, and Baltimore has 682 ATMs.&nbsp;
Despite the growing pace of crypto adoption in the United States, the pace of registration of lawsuits against crypto-based companies has also grown. A recently published research about penalty collection from crypto companies notes that the Securities and Exchange Commission of the U.S has topped the list collecting over $1 billion in penalties.&nbsp;
On September 25, 2024, <a href="https://news.todayq.com/truecoin-trusttoken-settled-with-the-sec-over-unregistered-sales/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Todayq </a>reported that TrueCoin and TrustToken have agreed to pay penalties over the charges of unregistered offers and sales of investment contracts.&nbsp;
The commission alleges that “TrueCoin and TrustToken falsely marketed the investment opportunity as safe and trustworthy by claiming that TUSD was fully backed by U.S. dollars or their equivalent, when in fact a substantial portion of the assets purportedly backing TUSD had been invested in a speculative and risky offshore investment fund to earn additional returns for the defendants.” Crypto Market Price Updates&nbsp;

Until publishing, Bitcoin was trading at $65,842 with a 4.45% in a week; however, its trading volume fell over 22%, reaching $28,907,046,296. The positivity in the prices has also backed the ongoing inflow in the Bitcoin ETF.&nbsp;
