<p>These speculations were fueled by Markus’ username, “Shibetoshi Nakamoto,” a playful reference to Satoshi Nakamoto, the unknown creator of Bitcoin. Despite this, Markus has repeatedly denied any association with Bitcoin, stating his focus remains on Dogecoin.</p>
<p>In response to the growing rumors, Markus reiterated on social media that he has only created Dogecoin and has not worked on any cryptocurrency since 2014. He further emphasized that any claims of his affiliation with other cryptocurrencies are false.</p>
<h2 id="markus-humorous-response">Markus’ Humorous Response</h2>
<p>The conversation took a humorous turn when an influencer jokingly commented, “But you invented Bitcoin.” Markus, known for his witty responses, retorted, “Yes, and I also invented the internet and oxygen.”</p>
<p>This humorous exchange highlights the absurdity of the rumors and the speculations that often surround prominent figures in the cryptocurrency community.</p>
<p>Dogecoin, launched in 2013, was intended to be a fun alternative to more serious digital currencies like Bitcoin, which debuted in 2009. Given that Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared from public view in 2011, it is highly unlikely that Markus, who launched Dogecoin two years later, is the creator of Bitcoin.</p>
<p>At the same time, Dogecoin was trading at $0.1149, with a 5.19% increase in the last 24 hours, and Bitcoin was trading at $64,307.87, marking a 1.21% rise in the past day. Both cryptocurrencies continue to show a bullish trend.</p>
