Cryptocurrency industry experts predict that by 2030, the computational power of the Bitcoin network will be millions of times greater than in 2013. The network's current <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hashrate</a> stands at approximately 650 exahashes per second, and growth continues exponentially. This increase is driven by the constant implementation of new, more powerful equipment and significant investments in mining.
In 2013, the Bitcoin network operated at a level of 4.66 petahashes per second. If this trend continues, by 2030, the hashrate could reach quadrillion levels, contributing to even greater network security and resilience.
The increase in computational power makes Bitcoin one of the most secure networks in the world, virtually eliminating the possibility of successful attacks. It also reflects global interest in cryptocurrency and its increasingly widespread adoption by both institutional and retail investors.
