<p>Oracle service provider Chainlink has been preparing for the next big opportunity in the market i.e. the Real World Assets (RWA) tokenization. In his bold prediction, chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov stated that the RWA tokenization industry will eventually overtake the entire crypto market.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-rwa-tokenization-to-overtake-crypto-market"><strong>RWA Tokenization to Overtake Crypto Market</strong></h2> 
<p>Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, has expressed his belief that there’s immense potential in the real-world assets (RWA) industry to eventually exceed the size of the entire cryptocurrency market.</p> 
<p>In his recent statement on crypto platform X, Nazarov stated the potential inclusion of gold-backed coins, stablecoins, and other commodity-based assets as part of RWAs. this highlights their significant potential to add further value to blockchain technology, he added.</p> 
<p>Additionally, the Chainlink co-founder also emphasized that Chainlink’s technology is strategically positioned and extensively utilized within the RWA sector. As a result, Chainlink will emerge as a global standard for RWA tokenization, said Nazarov.</p> 
<p>He also noted that RWAs will be the primary arena for the initial integration of traditional finance (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi).</p>

<p>During the Future of Value panel at Sibos, Nazarov said: “I think the whole global financial system will be run on blockchains, period. Everyone here will be in the blockchain industry, eventually”.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-chainlink-whale-activity-on-the-rise"><strong>Chainlink Whale Activity on the Rise</strong></h2> 
<p>The Chainlink whale activity has been on the rise recently. As reported by TheCoinRepublic, a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/09/11/dormant-chainlink-whale-goes-on-buying-spree-after-595-days/">dormant Chainlink whale</a>recently woke up after 595 days of inactivity, withdrawing LINK tokens worth billions of dollars from crypto exchange Binance.</p> 
<p>As per the on-chain data, the dormant whale withdrew a staggering 363,814 LINK, worth $3.81 million last month. Additionally,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/09/09/these-chainlink-metrics-hit-ath-link-price-heading-for-a-rebound/">Chainlink’s social media discussion</a>&nbsp;peaked out earlier this week signaling strong interest in the asset.</p> 
<p>However, despite this surge in online conversation, LINK has experienced a decrease in total holders. Currently priced at $10.22, LINK has seen an 18% drop since its local peak on August 18.</p> 
<p>On the other hand, Chainlink continues to face growing competition from other market players such as the Pyth Network. The total value secured (TVS) on the Pyth Network in the last nine months has surged by 46x from $98.35 million to $4.67 billion.</p> 
<p>However, Chainlink still continues to be the top provider with a TVS of $20.113 billion thereby grabbing a 46.46% market share. Additionally, the decentralized oracle space is getting even more competitive with other players such as WINkLink and Chronicle, which also grab a sizeable market share.</p>
