Chainlink (LINK) price is in a very focused race to trigger a positive rebound. To achieve this feat, it has seen some on-chain metric boosts that may help it chart a positive path in the coming weeks.
Crypto analytics platform Santiment has hinted at the massive leap in Chainlink social discussions. While this is a unique metric for the data provider, it shows the level of interest users have in LINK. In Santiment’s proposition, the positive trend in LINK social chatter might change very soon.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-chainlink-social-discussion-at-all-time-high">Chainlink Social Discussion at All-Time High</h2>
Chainlink’s discussions have hit an All-Time High (ATH) on social media platforms, implying that the decentralized Oracle service provider is more popular than ever.
As Santiment showed, LINK has recorded its highest proportion of total crypto discussions since December 2023. As it stands, the LINK social dominance comes in at 1.018%.
The capitulating small-holder wallets negate this social metric. In just 4 weeks, non-empty wallets have dropped by 1,867, a very concerning trend for the token. Rather than fret, Santiment posited that the high social volume and decreasing total users are positive signs.
The data service platform noted that a stabilization in the price of LINK this week will confirm this position. As of September 8, the sentiment data pegs the total number of LINK holders at 722,180. The LINK price has traded in a very tight range, featuring an opening of $10.28 and a closing valuation of $10.20.
Charting a surge beyond this level may be difficult. LINK has dropped by 18% since it recorded a local top on August 18. Retesting this level might require a very big and sustainable catalyst, an uncertain requirement considering the current market outlook.

The CCIP revenue has recorded an&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/03/15/chainlink-ccip-revenue-rose-to-180-crypto-experts-share-views/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">impressive revenue boost</a>&nbsp;through the numerous adoptions over the past year. While there has been an aggressive adoption of CCIP, analysts believe this is just the beginning.
There is strong confidence that the industry’s evolution will soon require many of Chainlink’s services. One of these areas is the tokenization of real-world assets. With firms like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton pushing into this area, the prospect for Chainlink is high.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-link-price-in-the-mix">LINK Price in the Mix</h2>
The series of ecosystem adoption updates has a positive implication for LINK. If sustained, the token will look to clear the losses it has registered over the past week and month. In the past week,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/price-prediction/chainlink/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">LINK price</a>&nbsp;has dropped by 4.1%, while it has fallen by 1.23% in the past month.
However, it has recovered with a 2.02% rally and trades at $10.27 as of this writing. While it is too soon to call a sustainable rebound, LINK might pull impressive growth in the coming week.
