<p>Bitcoin (BTC) continues its steady sideways movement as more debate about its next target come to light. While some analysts expect BTC price to drop below $40,000, other analysts believe this expectation to be a bear trap and argue that new ATHs for Bitcoin are simply on the horizon.&nbsp;</p>  
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-bitcoin-cycle-aths-debated">Bitcoin Cycle ATHs Debated</h2>  
<p>One analyst in particular, known for his many silver-tongued accurate predictions, Doctor Profit encourages traders and investors to either hold strong through the next few turbulent weeks or be daring and buy the dip in good faith. According to him, BTC will set a new ATH at the $80,000 range and will then continue to <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/will-bitcoin-surge-to-110000/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">soar towards the $100,000 - $110,000 price</a> target.&nbsp;</p>  
<p>Earlier this year, Doctor Profit shared three ATH outcomes for BTC in the coming crypto bull run phase. He calls this a super bull cycle phase and has set three outcomes for BTC price highs. In this bull case, he expects <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/bitcoin-btc-ath-of-220k-super-cycle/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BTC price to hit $220,000</a>. He has repeatedly mentioned that market makers are trying to exhaust traders at the moment to shake weak hands.</p>  
<p>Once this market manipulation phase plays out, the <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">price of BTC</a> will move towards setting new cycle highs and new ATHs for the cycle. Adding to this high expectation in the Bitcoin bullish narrative are other analysts and financial institutes sharing their bullish expectations for a BTC price high.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For instance, the $108 billion investment firm VanEck predicts Bitcoin price to hit a new high of $2.9 million by 2050. This led to a debate amongst the crypto community saying it is impossible to be bearish on Bitcoin as the asset will only moon int he long run. In fact, one calls this prediction a bearish one expecting inflation rates to lead to a much greater high by then.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, another analysts reminds the community once again of recurring patterns in bull cycles and expects BTC price to hit $100,000 in Q4 of 2024. Another analyst shares a large cup and handle formation on the Bitcoin price chart and expects BTC price to hit a high of <a href="https://x.com/Steph_iscrypto/status/1830688060456997042" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$306,000</a> in the coming bull run phase of the ongoing crypto bull cycle.</p>
