Bitcoin mining has seen a significant boost in profitability as the <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/bitcoins-rebound-above-30k-boosts-hashprice-a-4-leap-in-24-hours/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hashprice</a> jumped by 8.93% in the past week, reaching $46.95 per PH/day. This rise from $43.10 per PH/day marks a positive trend for miners, who have faced a fluctuating market, according to <a href="https://x.com/hashrateindex/status/1828086195647377442" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hashrateindex</a>.
The increase in hashprice is partly due to a surge in transaction fees collected by miners, which shot up by 83% over the past week compared to the previous month.
However, it's important to note that Bitcoin mining profitability fell to all-time lows in August, according to a recent report by JPMorgan. The hashprice, a measure of mining profitability, is still around 30% lower than the levels seen in December 2022 and about 40% below pre-<a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/heat-waves-and-halving-bitcoin-miners-cash-in-amid-rising-prices/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">halving</a> levels.
