<p>Bitwise Asset Management has officially announced that it has acquired ETC Group, a market leader of crypto exchange-traded product (ETP) issuers based in London. The deal expanded Bitwise into further diversification and increased its assets under management to over $4.5 billion, affirming its global stand in crypto asset management.</p>

<p>ETC Group is recognized for its physically-backed crypto ETP offering, including the largest traded physical Bitcoin ETP and others based on Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and the MSCI Digital Assets Select 20. After the close of the acquisition, it is intended that these products will be rebranded to the Bitwise name, a process expected to happen over the coming months.</p>
