Tether, the issuer of the largest stablecoin, announced via its official <a href="https://tether.io/news/tether-usd%e2%82%ae-to-launch-on-aptos-blockchain/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">website</a> through a press release that it will soon launch USDT on the Aptos Blockchain.&nbsp; 
Aptos as a Proof of Stake network, has processed more than 1 billion transactions. This collaboration is said to make digital currency more accessible globally.&nbsp; 
The main key points that were addressed in the announcement were about the extremely low gas fees which are significantly expected to reduce the cost of transactions. And making USDT more accessible and attractive to users from diverse economic backgrounds.

The total market cap of USDT is $116.92B. According to Token Terminal, Tether’s USDT supply is <a href="https://tokenterminal.com/terminal/projects/tether" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">growing</a> the fastest on Celo and Avalanche. And the supply of Tether’s USDT on the Tron network is currently at $60.81B.&nbsp;

To integrate USDT payments into the <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/tether-enables-usdt-payments-for-philippines-social-security-system/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Phillippines</a> Social Security System, Tether announced a partnership with <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/tether-usdt-and-usdc-mints-inject-1-35b-into-crypto-markets-as-digihorse-digi-gains-traction-amid-rising-investor-activity/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UQUID</a>, an e-commerce platform. This is to enable USDT payments across its marketplace. This collaboration allows users to make purchases using its stablecoin.&nbsp; 
The integration of USDT into UQUID’s ecosystem reflects the growing adoption of stablecoins in everyday transactions. This partnership aims to enhance the efficiency of digital payments, particularly in regions where traditional banking services may be less accessible.
