Ethereum has turned inflationary for the first time since the merger in late 2022. This has injected a significant level of uncertainty into the market, and investors are trying to mitigate risk by investing in deflationary altcoins such as Shiba Inu and DeFi casino Rollblock. Meanwhile, Ondo is still struggling to break out of the downtrend.

According to crypto influencer Shib Bezos, Shiba Inu could start burning up to a hundred trillion tokens annually. All the major protocols that are part of the Shiba Inu ecosystem have native burn mechanisms. Shibaswap burns Shiba Inu at every transaction, and so does Shiba Inu’s native L2 platform Shibarium. The Shiba Inu Metaverse will also see regular burns as users engage with the platform. These cumulative supply shocks could send Shiba Inu’s price above $1 in a long enough time frame.
Shiba Inu currently sells for $0.0000136 and is ranging around that level after a strong recovery from last week’s massive sell-offs.
<h3 id="strong-ondo-s-downturn-deepens-strong">Ondo’s Downturn Deepens</h3>
Ondo’s price action has taken a significant hit after the onset of the March correction. Ondo was launched in January, and in less than 2 months, it experienced a 595% increase. Ondo saw a new all-time high at $1.46, but that level was not held.
Ondo was sent into a downward spiral as its price plummeted to $0.65. Currently, Ondo sells for $0.73 and is moving beneath the 200-day moving average, suggesting a bearish trend is looming.&nbsp;
