Cronos

Band

Band Protocol is now live on the Cronos zkEVM mainnet, marking a major advancement for both projects. This launch follows a successful testnet phase that showcased Band Protocol’s capabilities and readiness for mainnet deployment. Band Protocol announced this news today via announcements on its official blog and X account.

Band Protocol Integration Elevates Cronos as a Bridge Between Ethereum and Cosmos

The most recent announcement from Cronos is that it is live and active on Band Protocol, the secure & scalable decentralized oracle solution. The integration feeds the data across multiple blockchains will thereby enhancing the blockchain system efficiency. The addition of Band Protocol as cross-chain oracle will help in the integration among different blockchains to support data sharing, which is much-needed for a better performance on dApps.

In terms of novelty and unique, Cronos is one-of-a-kind as this was the first blockchain that connects the Ethereum chain with Cosmos network. With this specific, Cronos can be implemented in any type of application DeFi, NFT or Web3 project/game and even the metaverse. By integrating Band Protocol, Cronos is aiming to make its ecosystem richer with the support of both real-time and reliable data for almost any use case of DApps and services.

The partnership between Band Protocol and Cronos looks like a brave step towards the realization of a connected blockchain universe. The integration is expected to create operational efficiency and innovation within numerous industries. In addition to this, it will make sure that applications developing on Cronos, receive data from Band Protocol’s to be accurate and timely.
