 <p>Senator Lummis introduced the Boosting Innovation, Technology, and Competitiveness through Optimized Investment Nationwide Act of 2024 (or Bitcoin Act of 2024) on July 31. This landmark bill proposes that the US Treasury establish Bitcoin vaults and acquire 1 million Bitcoin over a five-year period. The goal is to leverage Bitcoin's unique properties to hedge against inflation and economic volatility.</p>
