<p>The recent fluctuations of Bitcoin haven’t shaken all investors in the same way. Baby boomers, in particular, show surprising tenacity in their investment choices. They might well be the unsuspected new heroes of the cryptocurrency market.</p>

<p>Eric Balchunas, ETF analyst at Bloomberg, recently shared his observations on the social network X, and according to him, <a href="https://www.cointribune.com/en/why-are-baby-boomers-ditching-gold-for-bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">baby boomers</a> prove to be more robust hodlers than initially thought. This generation, often perceived as less tech-savvy, has demonstrated notable resilience in the face of Bitcoin market fluctuations.</p>

<p>Despite the drop in the price of the queen of cryptos in June, baby boomers maintained their positions without succumbing to panic. <a href="https://crypto.news/boomers-are-better-hodlers-bloomberg-analyst-says/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">This attitude</a> contrasts with the more volatile reactions observed in younger generations, who tend to sell quickly during price drops. Baby boomers thus show lasting confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term potential, favoring investment stability despite market turbulence.</p>

<p>Eric Balchunas has also been interested in the performance of spot Bitcoin ETFs and the fluctuations in the price of the leading crypto. In June, Bitcoin’s price came under significant downward pressure, falling by $10,000. This drop was largely fueled by the announcement of the imminent reimbursement of $9 billion by the former exchange Mt. Gox, as well as massive BTC sales by miners and governments. Miners liquidated more than 30,000 BTC after the halving, and the German and U.S. governments sent millions of dollars worth of BTC to cryptocurrency exchanges, exacerbating the price drop.</p>
<p>Despite these unfavorable conditions, spot Bitcoin ETFs showed net positive flows. Data as of July 2 reveals positive flows on daily, weekly, and monthly periods, with a total of $14.6 billion since the beginning of the year. Balchunas expressed his surprise, noting that Bitcoin ETFs managed to attract constant investments even when BTC’s price dropped below the $60,000 mark. He highlighted that this indicates continued investor confidence, particularly among baby boomers, who did not liquidate their holdings during this turbulent period.</p>
<p>The resilience of baby boomers in the face of <a href="https://www.cointribune.com/en/bitcoin-anticipation-of-a-rebound-after-the-fall/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin fluctuations</a> reveals enduring confidence and a long-term strategy. Their ability to maintain positions despite price drops might inspire new investment approaches. Spot Bitcoin ETFs, meanwhile, continue to show positive flows, reflecting sustained investor confidence.</p>
