According to the <a href="https://medium.com/@BitTorrent/on-chain-revolution-integrating-depins-with-btfss-encryption-strategies-03ac1621090f" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">report</a>, the decentralized file storage and sharing system of BitTorrent File System (BTFS) appears in line with the core of DePIN.&nbsp;

The BTFS encryption method is said to boast several unique security features coupled with blockchain productivity, including file encryption and sharing, symmetric encryption, and on-chain innovation.&nbsp;
With file encryption and sharing, BTFS enables users to store and share files securely on publicly accessible networks. It has also adopted methods for file encryption and decryption via the BTIP-52 proposal. This enables users to upload private files to themselves or others to ensure data privacy and security.&nbsp;
Under symmetric encryption, BTIP-52 is used as a foundation, with BTIP-72 providing users with options. This ensures that files have an extra layer of protection via a symmetric encryption algorithm.&nbsp;
With the on-chain innovation, integrating BTFS’s encryption strategy with DePINs ensures that a new example for on-chain innovation is set. In addition to improving the working efficiency of blockchain infrastructure, BTFS also strengthens data security by deploying symmetric and asymmetric encryption strategies.&nbsp;
