This proposal emerged in the wake of a $4.5 billion settlement between Terraform Labs, founder Do Kwon, and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The aim was to enhance the network’s decentralization by incorporating validators from Terra Luna v2, potentially signaling a move towards unification within the Terra ecosystem. 
However, the proposal did not gain sufficient support in the community’s governance voting.
