Polygon has unveiled a new “Polygon Governance Hub” created in partnership with Aragon, a leading developer of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). 
The hub will allow Polygon’s users and builders to directly influence and decide on the future development of Polygon’s technology. It will act as a center for the Polygon community to propose, discuss, and vote on upgrades and improvements to the protocol.

Initially, the hub will focus on two key areas: protocol governance for upgrading Polygon’s protocols and governance over the core smart contracts that Polygon’s protocols rely on.&nbsp; 
Additionally, builders can submit Polygon Improvement Proposals (PIPs) which will undergo peer review, public discussion, and voting by the Polygon Protocol Council. Approved PIPs will then go to a 10-day community vote where staked token holders and designated community representatives can vote to approve or reject them.
