The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, consisting of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol, has postponed its planned token merger. Initially scheduled for June 13, 2024, the merger will now take place on July 15, 2024. This delay is due to the necessary adjustments required by partners to ensure seamless integration of their respective tokens into the new Artificial Superintelligence token (ASI). 
The token merger was delayed because of the technical complexities and the management of logistics. The Alliance team is actively engaged in coordinating with centralized exchanges, validators, and other ecosystem partners to complete third-party dependencies.&nbsp;

Token holders of Fetch.ai (FET), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) are assured that no immediate action is required on their part. Until the new ASI token is launched on July 15, 2024, FET, AGIX, and OCEAN will continue to trade <a href="https://x.com/Fetch_ai/status/1800541764740342055" target="_blank">independently</a> on exchanges. Once the ASI token is live, these tokens will cease to trade independently and merge into the ASI token. 
Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai and Chairman of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, emphasized the continued commitment and vision of the Alliance despite the delay. 
Ben Goertzel, founder and CEO of SingularityNET also echoed similar sentiments of Sheikh where he said that the delay has been made purposely to come up with the best solution to the three-way tokenomic merger.
