<p>Chainlink (LINK), the native token of the decentralized oracle network, has recently regained the top spot among real-world crypto assets (RWA) in terms of development activity, surpassing popular projects such as Synthetix and Centrifuge.</p>
<h2 id="h-an-unquestioned-dominance-in-the-rwa-market">An Unquestioned Dominance in the RWA Market</h2>
<p>For two consecutive months, April and May, Chainlink recorded the most sustained development activity among <a href="https://www.cointribune.com/en/tvl-crypto-real-world-assets-rwa-explode-to-8-billion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">real-world assets</a>.</p>

<p>According to data from Santiment, the blockchain analytics company, the Ethereum-based decentralized oracle <a href="https://cryptopotato.com/chainlink-tops-real-world-crypto-assets-with-the-most-development-again/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">maintained its top spot</a> in May, showing an average daily development activity of 428.83. This is a nearly 12% increase from April and 2.5 times higher than its closest competitor, Synthetix.</p>
<p>Santiment evaluates development activity by extracting GitHub data from projects and focusing only on concrete efforts in innovation and improvement. Not only did <a href="https://www.cointribune.com/en/this-chainlink-innovation-could-disrupt-the-financial-assets-market/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink maintain its leadership</a> in May, but it also significantly increased its activity from April, rising from 383.03 to 428.83.</p>
<p>This sustained development activity demonstrates the vitality of the Chainlink network and its LINK token. It coincides with LINK’s 25% rally during the month of May and fuels analysts’ optimistic forecasts for the coming months.</p>
<p>Synthetix (SNX) and Centrifuge (CFG) are ranked second and third respectively among the most prolific real-world crypto assets, but with a substantial gap compared to the leader Chainlink.</p>
