Ripple, the leading enterprise blockchain and crypto solutions provider, has announced a new partnership with Clear Junction, a global cross-border payments solutions provider for regulated institutions.&nbsp;The Ripple payments are to be secured in GBP, EUR, and more currencies are planned for later this year.

Cassie Craddock, Managing Director, Europe at Ripple, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, <a href="https://clearjunction.com/blog/ripple-partners-with-clearjunction/" target="_blank" data-type="link" data-id="https://clearjunction.com/blog/ripple-partners-with-clearjunction/" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">saying</a>, “Clear Junction is a great fit for Ripple.”From the word go, it was able to support all of our use cases, including providing GBP and EUR payout coverage for our clients sending payments into the UK and European Union.” 
As an FCA-authorised e-money institution in the UK, Clear Junction offers its partners the assurance that their funds are secure and protected by necessary payment industry and data security safeguards. The company is now ISO 27001 certified, the world’s most recognized standard for business data security. 
Dima Kats, Founder, and CEO at Clear Junction was pleased about the partnership noting that blockchain technology and currencies will be instrumental in correspondent banking. 
Currently, Ripple has partnerships with over 200 customers in more than 55 countries and across six continents, with payout in over 80+ markets encompassing over 90% of the global foreign exchange market. The company’s <a href="https://x.com/edward_farina/status/1798381032397566270" target="_blank" data-type="link" data-id="https://x.com/edward_farina/status/1798381032397566270" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">recent advertisement</a> featuring $XRP for cross-border payments predicts that the cross-border payments market is expected to reach $300 trillion in payments by 2030. 
Ripple Labs Partners with Evmos for XRP-Ledger EVM Sidechain 
According to a recent report&nbsp; <a href="https://www.cryptotimes.io/2024/05/16/ripple-partner-with-evmos-peersyst-for-xrp-evm-sidechain/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ripple Labs partnered with Evmos</a>, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based protocol from Cosmos, to create an XRP-ledger EVM sidechain. The sidechain is built using evmOS, a flexible and modular tech stack developed by Evmos, prioritizing native Web3 enterprise applications and their EVM compatibility. 
The collaboration with Evmos and Peersyst, a cryptocurrency software firm, will allow the XRPL to access more than 90 interconnected chains through the modularity and interchain connection of the Evmos platform.
