Dog-themed meme coins have become immensely popular and have achieved a massive market cap of $45.9 billion. Can Dogeverse add to this rally of dog coins?

Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Bonk (BONK) have helped boost the category’s market value, according to CoinGecko.

In this guide, we’ll look at how the popular dog-themed meme coins have been performing and introduce a new one you might want to add to your portfolio.

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Dogecoin, the original meme coin, has a market value exceeding $22.85 billion, making it the dominant player in the meme coin world. Created as a fun and light-hearted cryptocurrency inspired by a dog meme, Dogecoin aimed to appeal to a broader audience than just Bitcoin enthusiasts.

With the enthusiastic backing of Elon Musk, its value soared in just a few months. Today, Dogecoin has shown noticeable price swings, currently hovering around $0.157. It experienced a slight drop of 7% over the last day, mirroring wider fluctuations in the crypto market.

In recent trading, Dogecoin (DOGE) demonstrated moderate volatility within a narrow price range, fluctuating between $0.1534 and $0.1699 over the last four hours. Trading volume saw a significant increase of 98.41%, indicating a intense movement in trading activity.

Market sentiment towards Dogecoin seems cautiously positive, with traders closely monitoring key technical levels, particularly the $0.1740 resistance and the $0.1532 support. Investors should keep a close eye on these levels as they could signal the direction of DOGE’s next significant price shift.

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

Shiba Inu, another famous meme coin inspired by dogs, started as a fun digital currency. However, with strong support from meme coin traders, its popularity soared. Many developers got involved, turning it from just a meme coin into a decentralized ecosystem with Shibarium, an L2 chain.

Now, Shiba Inu is a highly sought-after meme coin with a market value of $14.04 billion, which is rapidly growing. Currently, Shiba Inu’s price is stuck at $0.000023, still 73% lower than its peak of $0.00008845 three years ago.

However, a setback occurred with the FTX crash, causing Shiba Inu’s value to plummet. But with the bullish market at the start of 2024, its price, along with many other cryptocurrencies, surged. During this time, Shiba Inu reached its highest value in three years, hitting $0.00003356.

However, the market downturn later caused prices to drop again. Yet, with recent improvements, Shiba Inu’s price has risen, raising hopes of hitting $0.001. Setting a target of $0.001 is ambitious, considering it’s significantly higher than its previous peak of $0.00008845.

That peak happened during Shiba Inu’s best times. Hitting $0.001 is tough since it’s far from its old high. But new updates like SHIB Burn and Shibarium, plus rising meme coin demand, could lift its value. While $0.001 is ambitious, a big jump might come with the post-bitcoin halving rally.

Bonk (BONK)

Bonk (BONK), a meme coin built on Solana, is gaining attention in the crypto world as its value keeps rising. It surged by over 30% in the past week and has seen a remarkable 21% increase over the last month, signaling strong momentum.

Solana’s resurgence, approaching a significant resistance level, adds to the optimism, especially for BONK and other Solana-based meme coins. While some like WIF and BOME struggle, BONK stands out as a leader in the ongoing crypto rally.

Despite a slight 6% dip in the last 24 hours, BONK’s price sits at $0.00003251, with a substantial 24-hour trading volume of $1.15 billion and a market cap of $2.18 billion. With bullish sentiment surrounding BONK, many are watching closely for its potential growth.

Though currently below its all-time high of $0.00004704 on March 05, 2024, experts remain hopeful about BONK’s future. Can it maintain this momentum and possibly reach a new all-time high of $0.00009930? It’s uncertain, given the ongoing meme coin craze, but there’s potential for prices to rise towards that mark.

Dog meme coin Dogeverse (DOGEVERSE) could be the next to explode

While the number of meme coins circulating has boomed recently, the same goes for those still in presale. With the crypto market embracing meme coins more, Dogeverse could see a surge upon its full launch, joining popular options like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Dogeverse (DOGEVERSE) sets an example as the world’s first multi-chain meme coin, drawing users’ interest. Its presale quickly hit its soft cap of $8.8 million in a few weeks, likely doubling since then, raising over $15 million.
Anticipation for Dogeverse is high, not just for its meme coin status but also for being the first multi-chain meme coin. This feature allows users to choose their preferred chain for token claiming. Transferring funds across chains will be seamless without relying on stablecoins or buying native cryptos.

Dogeverse will operate on six chains simultaneously: Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Base, Avalanche, and BNB Chain. While presale nears its end, $DOGEVERSE is still available for $0.00031, accepting ETH, USDT, BNB, MATIC, AVAX, BASE, and SOL.
Another benefit for holders is staking, with community members able to stake Dogeverse via a dedicated app, earning passive rewards at an impressive 51% annually. To ensure project integrity, blockchain security specialist Coinsult has conducted a contract audit of the new meme coin.
