Andrew Tate took to Twitter today with a series of tweets suggesting a major shift in his financial holdings.
Tate <a href="https://twitter.com/Cobratate/status/1790802144431378828" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">expressed</a> his dissatisfaction with the traditional banking system, claiming scams and a general disillusionment with fiat currency.
Tate declared his intention to move a significant sum of money, exceeding $100 million, into <a href="https://crypto.ro/en/cryptocurrencies/bitcoin" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> (BTC).
Tate went further, promising to provide proof of the transaction. The tweets concluded with a cryptic message about “going boating,” leaving many to speculate about the sincerity and intent behind his statements.

This bold declaration comes amidst ongoing legal issues for Tate, who faces serious charges including human trafficking and rape in Romania. Authorities have already seized various assets from Tate, including approximately 21 Bitcoins valued at around $560,000, alongside luxury cars and real estate worth millions
Tate’s relationship with cryptocurrency has been complicated. Despite his significant investment in Bitcoin and his vocal support for decentralized finance, he has expressed disdain for the speculative nature of cryptocurrency trading, likening it to gambling.
He has stated multiple times that he would never launch his own cryptocurrency, emphasizing a moral opposition to exploiting his followers for financial gain
Romanian prosecutors have targeted Tate’s digital and physical assets as part of their investigation, indicating that the wealth he amassed posed a potential flight risk. Despite this, Tate continues to be an influential figure in the cryptocurrency space, known for his controversial views and lifestyle.
