OKX Ventures has announced investing in ‘Blade of God X’, an action role-playing game that lets players literally train an AI through gameplay. 
The ‘play-to-train’ concept behind Blade of God X is revolutionary. As gamers hack and slash their way through the title’s gritty, Souls-like combat, their actions are somehow fed into the training of an AI model under the hood. 
While the specifics remain unclear, the implications are mind-boggling. Could gaming be the next frontier for amassing the massive data sets required to push AI development forward? If so, Blade of God X could be ushering in an entirely new paradigm. 
Developer Void Labs has remained tight-lipped on the details so far. But with the game already boasting over 6 million downloads and $6 million in raised funds from the likes of Delphi Ventures and BreederDAO, expectations are scorching hot.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
Blade of God X is available now in early access on the Epic Games Store, where it’s being praised for its brutal combat and optional Web3 integrations like NFT item trading.
